Shipping & Delivery Policy
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine and spirits. By placing your order you have represented to Village Wine & Spirits that you are at least 21. All wines and spirits delivered must be received by an adult of legal drinking age.
We offer free local delivery. Local delivery is any address within 15 miles of Village Wine & Spirits' physical location of 45 Front Street, Millbrook, NY. We will deliver up to 25 miles from our physical address for a $30 fee.
FedEx Ground shipping in NY State is free for orders over $200 (before tax total).
The best shipping method will be chosen by Village Wine & Spirits based on customer's time frame and cost-effectiveness.
An email will immediately acknowledge receipt of your order, while a second email will confirm your order has been processed and is prepared for shipment. We will contact you by the end of the next business day if there is any problem with your order. While we make every effort to show accurate product listings on our website, Village Wine & Spirits is not responsible for typographical, pricing errors, and omissions. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that shipping costs are estimated. In the rare instance where the actual shipping cost differs from the estimate, we will contact you to confirm prior to processing your order. Any additional shipping costs resulting from an inaccurate address, failure of an adult to be present to sign for your package during the three UPS delivery attempts, or other customer error will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
Village Wine & Spirits cannot ship to the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia
We do not ship internationally.
Weather and shipping
Some of the items Village Wine & Spirits will ship can be damaged by excessive heat or cold. If these items are ordered and the weather is not conducive to shipping in the best possible conditions, Village Wine & Spirits will contact the customer and set up an alternate time in which to ship.
If the customer would like the items regardless of weather conditions, against the professional advice of Village Wine & Spirits, Village Wine & Spirits will not responsible for damage to the items shipped. Village Wine & Spirits will not accept returns if the customer waives the option to hold the order until weather conditions are conducive to shipping and will not be responsible for charges incurred by the customer to return said items.
We will only accept returns or replace damaged merchandise if you notify us within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Our order department can be reached by phone at 1-845-677-3311 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We make every effort to ensure that our products reach our customers correctly and in good condition. If you ever wish to return all or part of an order or receive an incorrect, physically damaged, or otherwise flawed item, seal any remaining contents within the bottle(s) and contact us immediately. We cannot replace or accept returns of empty bottles. We will arrange for the item(s) to be shipped back to us, and, after inspection to confirm the problem, we will ship a replacement or issue you a refund, whichever is appropriate. You will not be liable for any shipping charges for items that you receive damaged or in error.
Please Note: Open liquor bottles (bottles with contents in excess of 20% alcohol by volume) cannot be returned.
